Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of have actually been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be hazardous.
"These types of items being offered, usually online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
